Once you have made the decision to hire Renaissance, we will schedule a site visit at your home. In addition to taking detailed measurements & photos of your space, we will discuss your likes & dislikes of your existing space, how the bathroom design will meet your needs and look the way you have imagined it. Our job is to coordinate the form and function of this well-used room.

The style of your bathroom should flow with the rest of your home. As bathroom experts, Renaissance does not work in any particular “style”, we focus on pulling together the products and materials that are best for you.

Is the current layout fine, just in need of updated tile & fixtures, or do you need a complete overhaul and expansion? Now is when we will discuss the options & your budget. If a new layout is called for, we will develop workable solutions for your consideration. Once the final layout has been determined, the selection process begins.

Generally, tile is selected first, as it is such a prominent feature in the bathroom and will set the tone for cabinetry, countertops, and other finishes.

The next step is selecting fixtures, cabinetry, countertops, lighting, etc. This may sound overwhelming, but with our extensive knowledge of the most up to date products available, we will be able to guide you through these selections and design a bathroom that will look outstanding and function the way you want it to.

Once all of the selections have been made, we will provide you with a portfolio that will include a preliminary scope of work, working drawings, and detailed materials lists. This will enable your contractor to provide you with a much more accurate cost for your renovation since materials & fixtures are such a significant part of the cost of a bathroom renovation.

Renaissance Bath Design will be happy to order all of the fixtures and materials or your contractor may want to provide them. Since we work with many distributors, we recommend the products that are best for you, not what we want to sell. We are also available to provide ongoing supervision throughout your project to assure that the design is being executed as planned.
